I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. I graduated from Heritage Christian High School and received a bachelors degree from Cincinnati Christian University in Bible and Psychology. I was in administration and event coordination for around 20 years and then became a Communications Coordinator for my church in Raytown, Missouri for 5 years. in 2019 I moved back to Indianapolis to be closer to my mother at this time of her life. From 2019-2021 I was an in-home caregiver to a lovely 98-year old gentleman who passed away in June of 2021. Which brings me to a place in life where I am open to different opportunities which included house sitting!

HOUSE/PET SITTING EXPERIENCE
I was a house/pet sitter for a retired couple in Lee's Summit, Missouri from 2014 to 2019. My sitting engagements would last anywhere from one night to three weeks, around six times per year.
On average, I would care for two dogs but sometimes their daughter's dog visited too. Pet-sitting involved: feeding, medication dispensing, walks, trips to the groomers (as needed) and lots of love, play and snuggles too!
House-sitting: I was adept with their home security system, watered their garden/plants, filled bird feeders, got the mail, oversaw service and repair personnel as needed, trash removal and monitored the overall well-being of the pets and home. At times the couple would host large groups in their home while they were away so they relied on me to also to help the visitors with communication, hospitality and home-safety issues.
In 2019 I moved to Indiana and was sad to leave my friends (the 4-legged ones too!) but also sad to leave such a wonderful pet/house sitting opportunity!
