I am a freelance international commercial photographer/writer/artist who lives in Asheville, North Carolina- to be close to my darling grand-daughter and I have a wee little studio in a historic little village in Virginia. As a photographer/artist/nature/animal gal I appreciate & look for opportunities on land to care for property, get my hands in the earth & snuggle pets of all kinds....locally & in all areas of the world! I have owned/loved and trained horses/chickens/dogs and of course kitties (meds not a problem-I'm a bit partial to geriatrics). No doubt your animals will be beautifully photographed. I can wear many hats from splitting wood-gardening-preserving-shoveling snow! (I am a Hemingway character as I perform with grace under pressure thus I don't panic-I just take sensible & confident action) I love nature-cultures, people, quiet, and appreciate WI-FI....as I mentor other photographers on-line & write.I have great animal/prop... read more
My family is small--my husband, Jack, myself and our young adult daughter, Emma, who now lives in Philadelphia. We all love to travel, but most times, it is just my husband and I. The world can seem crazy, but the antidote to any prejudice is travel. We like to meet and understand people, try new foods and get to know other parts of the world other than our own. I like to cook, love history and photography. My husband is woodworker and sports enthusiast. I am a former Girl Scout leader (Outstanding Leader Award, City of Alexandria Citizenship Awards and Star Volunteer Award from the Del Ray Business Association), and have had U.S. safety background checks for U.S. Public schools. We are both good with plants; Jack worked at a landscaping job years ago during college and prides himself on keeping a tidy yard. I love my garden, and work well with vegetables, flowers, and herbs. I have happily grown heirloom tomatoes saved from my Grandfather's seeds. We are ... read more

Travel has always been a significant part of my life for both work and play. When I learned about this opportunity, I thought it would be a good fit for me, not only because I love travel, but as an older, unmarried man, I have the freedom to go where I want, when I want. I’m not a smoker or a drinker. I’m quiet and introverted, so there is no chance of unwanted parties on your property. I’m tidy and like to keep things nice. I will treat your home and belongings with the same care I treat mine. I’ve always loved animals. I grew up with cats and dogs and really enjoy being around other pets. Naturally, I would give your animals the love and care they need in your absence. As for my other skills that might prove useful, I am a licensed helicopter pilot, I grew up helping with farming and as an EMT. I’m currently available for booking. read more

Hi, this is a joint account for a married couple who will be available for house/pet/plant sitting jobs in the not-too-distant future. Ronnie is a freelance artist and Mary Ann is a nurse. This August we'll be celebrating our 14-year Anniversary. In our time together, we've raised two beautiful children and have cared for more animals - ours and other people's - than we can count! It just comes naturally for us and now we'd like to use our talents to put other people's minds and hearts at ease when they're away from their homes and animal companions. read more
