A little about myself.... Well, I grew up and live in Iowa. I played football for Iowa State and the Iowa Barnstormers of the Arenafootball League. I graduated with a major in Exercise and Sport Science and have my masters in Higher Education. After playing football, I coached for 8 years. I have written 10 kids books and tour around the country visiting elementary schools inspiring young kids to work hard and Dream Big... www.coachsloth.comMy schedule gives me a lot of free time, so I like to house sit when not touring. I'm accountable, reliable, and will follow directions of what needs to be done. I have had cats, dogs, fish as pets and love taking care of them. My wife Pat and I are semi-retired, and empty-nesters, having lived in the midwest all our lives. We are clean, non-smokers and are into outdoor activities, traveling, seeing new things and meeting new people, as well as fun things like food and wine, gardening and maintaining our home. I am a handyman and can maintain and/or repair most anything home-related. We are fastidious housekeepers and would treat any temporary residence as our own. We have house-sat for friends and relatives over the years and enjoy it immensely. We love all animals and treat them with the utmost respect. We have had many pets of our own, and they are valued and loved members of our family. We love fitness and exercise, so walking or taking care of animals is very familiar to us.
