About Francesca Beagle: |
Welcome to my House Sitting Page!
My name is Francesca Beagle and I have lived in York Maine with my husband for 13 years. I love York's people, ocean, parks, scenic beauty and of course, the exquisite homes!
I am now a Freelance Professional Housekeeper/Home and Pet Sitter. I started house sitting at age 30, immediately realizing a real talent and great love! Unfortunately at that time it was not a real profession, so I looked elsewhere, but always wanting to return to my first love, houses and animals! Originally from Danvers, MA, I attended college at MarianCourt College, in Swampscott, MA with an Administrative Assistant Degree, and then went on to earn a Certificate in Small Animal Science from Essex Agricultural Institute in Danvers, MA.
My professional background is primarily law enforcement with employment at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Boston, as a secretary for 3 years. Wanting a more hands on experience, I went to Massachusetts General Hospital in the Police and Security Department. I have worked for MGH Police as a Police/Security Dispatcher since 1996, where, like many others, I met my husband, who is a Police Officer. I left MGH this past October to return to House/Pet Sitting.
My primary house sitting employment was situated in Boxford, MA, where I sat for semi-retired home owners in an exclusive rural area, with a beautiful home and multiple pets, including several dogs, cats and horses. I worked for them for 4 years before leaving for employment in Boston. Because they travelled so frequently, the contract was primarily an exclusive "on call" arrangement; where they could rely upon me with very short notice, to take care of their home and pets, for any duration needed, which was agreeable to both parties. They literally traveled the world without a worry! On one occasion, they were even able to invite their family to their home for a 4th of July celebration, when they were thousands of miles away! Family members reported: The home and accommodations were immaculate, including fresh flowers, the fridge stocked, the pets were clean, happy, loved, and met them with wagging tails... they had an amazing time! The last time I sat for my clients, upon returning after 3+ months, Dave, the home owner, stated: "The house is clean, the pets are clean and well cared for, happy and content, their routine un-interrupted; it doesn't seem to matter whether we are here or not!" Nostalgic fact: This was before cell phones, so trust was imperative!
This is a second career for me and I take it very seriously. I do not see this as a "free vacation" this is a serious commitment. My rates are flexible, and I am not afraid of work and enjoy keeping a beautiful home of any size, running smoothly, securely with all inhabitants happy, calm, and content, with lots of love, walks and hugs!
My schedule is completely flexible, and I assimilate seamlessly to most home environments, routines, and specific tasks requested by the homeowner(s), which greatly contributes to a gentle, seamless transition.
Rates: I charge $30.00 per hour Daily:$240.00 for 8 hour sitting assignment Weekly: $1200.00 Monthly: Prefer longer sitting positions/negotiable. All rates are negotiable depending upon home owners requests, and length of stay.
My business is about providing peace of mind by ensuring your home is secure, clean, organized, well run and a happy, loving environment for all inhabitants, while you are away.
I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

To Whom It May Concern,
I have known Francesca since 1996, when she interviewed with me for a position in the Police and Security Department at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Since then, I have had the pleasure of observing her exceptional skills and dedication during her long tenure at MGH/MGB Police and Security.
Francesca consistently demonstrated a solid work ethic, attention to detail, exceptional people skills and a team player in multiple positions; from exceptional customer service in a physically demanding environment, to the highest level of customer service and confidentiality in an extremely fast paced, high stress, emergency prioritization-based position. Her dedication to the organization, to excellence, to her teammates, unquestionable honesty, boundless energy, and critical thinking, provided a solid foundation to a critical element that is at the core of our department. She is a lovely woman who is always honorable, caring, and helpful.
Based on my experience working with Francesca, I feel confident in recommending her in any new role as a professional house sitter.
Sincerely,
Bonnie Michelman
