We are a friendly, responsible, and resourceful mature (young 50’s) couple
that has extensive experience in coordinating logistics and managing properties
as well as caring for gardens and pets.
In our early years of marriage we lived in and managed numerous bed
& breakfasts and youth hostels before transitioning to our current careers
as museum technicians in art conservation and botanical research. Our household
has often included pets, both large and small. I am an experienced horsewoman
and personally cared for my horse for over 8 years in a backyard stable. We also shared our life with a very loving
cat for 13 years and have frequently cared for the pets of neighbors and
co-workers. I am an avid gardener of
both ornamental plants and vegetables and am a member of a both a neighborhood
garden club and community garden in Washington, DC. My husband, Dean, is an expert
wood-worker/craftsman and has fully renovated both of the homes we have owned
together. We are well-travelled and
enjoy exploring new places. Either together or individually we look forward to
caring for your home, pets, and/or garden while seeing the sights in your area.
