We are looking for someone to watch both our home as well as our pets while we are away. Our home is just north of Santa Fe, only 15 minutes from the famous Santa Fe Plaza, in a beautiful quiet area. The home is very comfortable and is built in the old Santa Fe style of stucco walls as well as exposed beams. Most importantly for us, is someone who loves animals and will take good care of our four small dogs and cat. I live on 5 fenced wooded acres just outside of Santa Fe. I have a cat (Me. Dot) and 2 dogs (Buddy and Gracie). Buddy is Super Sweet 7 ish Aussie Shepherd. Very friendly and easy going. Gracie is a German Shepherd Puppy, probably around 9 months old. I have had her about 2 months. She is fabulous, very friendly, very smart, eager to please. I have been told she is ery very mellow and not crazy for a G S pup.This will be the first time I am leaving her since I got her so she may need some extra loving care and re assurance. We will be traveling and our dog Dottie needs someone to stay with her at night and check in on her during the day. Our sitter will need to stay at our home overnight each night from Wednesday, October 18, 2017 through Tuesday, October 24, 2017. Our sitter will also need to visit our house once during the day each day for 30 minutes of so from the 18th through the 25th, as we will leave early on the 18th and return late afternoon on the 25th. In other words, Dottie needs a house sitter for 7 nights and 8 days.
Dottie is a sweet and very gentle 12 year old 55 pound mixed breed. She is used to house sitters and has always gotten along well with them.

Simply housesitting. We have no pets, no children a complete monitored alarm system and close neighbors. This is just back up security. Our expectations are the house being in the same condition when we return as when we left. We will leave one car in the driveway, we have external motion detectors exterior lighting and everything but a dog that would make burglary extremely unlikely anyway, but we are also considering a housesitter with references. read more
