Stay in Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico, a small town, designated a Pueblo Magico, on the largest lake in Mexico with a bustling ex-pat community. Even so, it remains a very active and family oriented Mexican town with the Arts (murals, painters, and classes) being a strong theme and draw. We are 40 minutes from Guadalajara and the airport. The housesit would involve the care of one cat, Sophie. Our home is walking distance to the town and the lake and there are a multitude of restaurants of all flavors, organic markets, and color everywhere. Flowers, birds, trees, and Artwork! Our home has a pool across from it and is about a 5 min walk from hiking trails that wind around the mountains. read more
Our farm is Sonora's first and only producing dragon fruit farm. We are a married couple who originated this farm 7 years ago and we are bilingual in English and Spanish. We have a six-acre organic and sustainable farm with 12,000 dragon fruit plants in production, situated in San Jose de Guaymas, 15 minutes from beautiful San Carlos, a small tourist town with world famous beaches and activities. Featured on HGTV twice on a show called Mexico Life, we grow our fruit, host dinner tours, and we are our community's only source for organic fruits in veggies which we deliver to San Carlos weekly. We have also donated over 70 tons of food this year so far to our community because of the earlier lockdowns (no longer in place), as well as three orphanages and an elder care home. Giving back to our community is very important to us.

We are a German-Mexican couple and are looking for a Housesitter for our house and our dog.
Our sons live in Berlin and we would like to spend some time in Germany. Our house is big and beautiful with a very large garden with a soccer field, heated swimming pool and several terraces. The house is located in the guarded residential area Las Cañadas, where the German school is located. There is a golf club, a church and a small shopping centre with shops, a nice café, two restaurants, hairdresser and beauty salon, pedicure and veterinary with clinic. To our family belongs our dog Pulgas, 12 years old, very quiet and sweet. We found her as puppies on a property! She is happy in her house and garden. She can hardly be alone and therefore loves the presence of people who stroke her from time to time and talk to her.
Three times a week our housemaid Silvia comes from 9.30 am to 2 pm to clean the house. She works with us since 1997 and is absolutely trustworthy! On Thursday and read more
We live two hours south of the border below Calexico, CA in San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico. We need someone to care for our two sweet cats while we are gone for Christmas and for a conference in Phoenix, AZ. So if anyone wants to spend the holidays in sunny Mexico, please contact us. Start and end dates are negotiable. It is possible that we can have someone care for the cats over Christmas if you would like to come just after. The only duties are to feed the cats and give them company. We are in a safe part of Mexico, in a gated community with security guards. We are on the Sea of Cortez and have beautiful beaches with mountains in the background. Our development offers pools, tennis courts, pickleball courts, movies, a golf course, and more. The town has many restaurants and attractions. you would need to drive down, but border crossing and a visitor's visa are easy. read more
