Hi! We are a retired couple that petsit in our home area but looking to branch out and seeing more of our good ole USA!! I have many people that would easily recommend us!! My husband is retired from the Post Office after 36 years and I retired from Kaiser Permanente after 26 years. We have pet sit dogs, cats, horses, mules, goats, llamas and chickens. Not only do we take great care of the animals, but also the home as well. We are not snoopers and can be trusted to treat your home as we would ours. As a long term Interim House Director for Kappa Delta on U of I campus I gave an overnight presence, interacted with house maintenance, deliveries, and residents. My wife and I are transitioning into retirement. I am an Associate Professor Emeritus in Psychiatry at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. We are early risers. Much of my work is data analysis so I can do it on weekends or in the evening hours. I grew up building three houses with my father and we remodeled our current home. As far as experience as a house sitter, I am new to this, but we have raised our kids and many pets(!) in our current house that we have owned since 1998. I have built a sauna in the back, a luxurious deck in the front and we take care of our wonderfully expanding garden. I take care of all repairs and yard work.
