I am a Veterinary Technician with experience for small and large and exotic animals. Currently I pet sit full time, work part time for a high end pet boutique in Santa Fe, NM, volunteer a lot, and trying to find every opportunity to visit Alasak and get my fill of the northern lights.I have Extensive Equine experience, along with farm and ranch experience including all livestock. Small animals, dogs especially, I have tons of knowledge owning, caring for, and feeding any diet including RAW diets, and caring for special needs or difficult cases. I am 45 years old, non-smoker, responsible, I love to travel both with and without my husband. We would abide by any rules set by any home owner, and would care for your pets and your home as we would our own. If sitting for less than one week, I would most likely travel alone. If sitting for more that 10 days, my husband may accompany me, he is also a non-smoker. I prefer dogs, but I am good with any animals, except reptiles. I have a green thumb and would take good care of your plants and garden and light housekeeping. I would also consider yard maintenance for an extended stay. read more

I moved to New Mexico in January 2021 and am now a resident. For 6 months I volunteered to work on organic and regenerative farms in Pecos through the Worldwide organization of Organic Farms (WWOOFUSA) to learn how to grow my own food and understand the water situation in New Mexico better. I grew up on a 10 acre Ranch in Oklahoma so am experienced with taking care of ducks, chickens, cows, horses, dogs, cats and rabbits as well as the needs of the land. I can also repair fences, greenhouses, and other simple projects like that. I also can make sure that your gardens or agriculture is well cared for. Right now, I am open ended, but my goal is to buy a ranch here in New Mexico and start an intergenerational care farm for elders with dementia, chronic or terminal illness and their caregivers called RANCH, Rest and Nature Can Heal. travelled extensively for work and for fun - Italy, France, Spain, Malta,
Sweden, Finland, England & Argentina, to name a few - and we look forward
to experiencing more and more of the world.
We
used to have 2 wonderful kitties that people would pet-sit for us when we
traveled. But now that they they're gone, we get our "pet fix" by
taking care of other people's pets. We've taken care of puppies, old dogs,
rowdy dogs, sleepy dogs and a deaf and blind dog who still loves to play and
eat. Now that he's retired - my husband, not the dog - and I can work remotely,
we have the freedom to travel the world and meet people and pets along the way.
