I live in a comfortable 3-bedroom bungalow in a rural village in Wiltshire, UK. My village has a village shop and 2 good pubs plus it is close to many beautiful walks in the Pewsey Vale, with access to interesting historic sites and towns like Stonehenge, Marlborough, Salisbury, or Bath.
I am a retired IT professional who is going on holiday and wants someone who will watch over them, ensuring their needs are met (tin of wet food daily and litter tray change). They are allowed out (as it is very quiet and safe), but they do not wander far, and I do want them home when it gets dark. I have a good work desk setup if you wish to work or if you want to explore the area. They can be left for long periods of time as they are content at home, though they do like company and cuddles. read more

Looking for someone (couples ok) to look after our home in Co Cavan while we are at a wedding abroad for a week.
We have a seperate 2-bed cottage (which we normally rent on airbnb) which you can stay in, own sitting room, bathroom, kitchen also. The cottage is right beside the main house.
The main house is large and old so we just require someone to keep an eye on it and tend to the animals while we're gone. The animals are several cats, three donkeys and chickens.
We will be in the main house for the first day so you have plenty of time to learn the ropes!

I am originally from Germany, but have been living in Canada for 20+ years. I have been living on this farm and operating it as a grazing operation for the past 10 years.The farm is nestled in the beautiful Ottawa Valley, right where the rich farmlands of the valley give way to the laurentian shield. The southern part of the farm is mostly pasture, with the northern part reaching into more rocky terrain that is typical for the laurentians. The land borders Long Lake with beautiful emerald water, that can be used for swimming etc. Gatineau park is just a few miles east, and Ottawa/Gatineau is approx. 80 km away... )(swimming is obviously not applicable to this particular stay - except, if you like to do (ice-) cold plunges :-D

Come spend two months in our beautiful, renovated home, one block away from Lake Michigan, less than a mile from Northwestern University. Evanston is a progressive city with restaurants galore, art galleries, coffee houses, and much more. Our cat, Gracie, is a rescued Tuxedo who is smart, funny, and quite lovely. She's been in our family for almost three months (since August 2025) and has settled into her new digs. Like any cat, she'll need a playful human. At the moment, she loves her cat condo. Aside from basic daily cat-related responsibilities, it will be smooth sailing. We have lots of plants to water and possibly snow to shovel. We'd like to get regular texts with photos and/or video. Chicago is right around the bend, with a train a few short blocks away, if you don't have a car. Enjoy theater, dance, music, and museums. We live in a 5000 square foot home on the water. We have two fish and four cats. There is no litter box - the cats go in and out for the bathroom (although we leave a window open for them during the day to do so). They are very independent and just need fresh food, water, and occasional snuggles/treats. The home is very comfortable with a nice kitchen to cook in, restaurants and a park a short walk away, and close to downtown Jacksonville (and other historic neighborhoods). We are eager to find a housesitter that will keep our home tidy and be careful with our animals. We also often have people working at the house on various projects -- housecleaning, home repair, yard work, etc. No one needs to be home for that but I like to give the heads up.
