We "went nomad" in October 2015, and have been traveling since then - currently in Florida until mid-October 2021, then (hopefully) traveling to Europe until December. Sandy works mainly online as a computer consultant (after owning a manufacturing business for 20 years), and Alex is a retired instrumentation engineer. We enjoy walking and exploring. I am a working actress and writer so I am able to spend a lot of time at home with pets if needed. Hello! I am a 65 year old single woman, who has worked in the hospitality industry for the last 45 years, primarily as an events director for private clubs, hotels and most recently, The Old Globe in San Diego where I spent the last 15 years. I left my career in 2019 to care full-time for my widowed mother, who at 87 was experiencing increased dementia and other illnesses. It was a wonderful experience and one that I will consider the largest blessing of my life. Sadly, she passed away in September. Growing up as the daughter of a career Naval officer and a mother who raised (often single-handedly) six children, I was infused with a strong work ethic, principles, and respect for other people. I have lived and worked on a ranch that has horses, ponies, miniature horses, goats, pigs, llamas, cattle, and sheep.
