Hello, I live in a two-family house in a suburban area of Troy/Brunswick, NY. While I do rent, my landlord lives in the building connected to mine. I am looking for a housesitter to take care of my two rabbits for ~1 month (23rd of Oct to 3rd Dec.). I would prefer someone with experience with rabbits and caring for them. The rabbits need to be fed once a day (you are welcome to split into two meals, they always act starved lol). Litter boxes need to be cleaned once a week (different from cat litter, if you are familiar with rabbits you know). Sweeping and mopping done as needed. A caring person interested in enjoying Summer in a triplex on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, close to a major subway stop, supermarkets and Riverside Park. The apartment has a terrace, and usual amenities like high-speed wifi. We need our two very friendly female cats looked after (fed, litter cleaned daily, kept company.--one of the cats needs medication, which is not difficult to administer.--not a lot of work) and the potted plants on our terrace watered. You're welcome to use the terrace. Our apt. is in a small, friendly building and is cleaned weekly by our longstanding, completely self-sufficient cleaner (so that housework will be minimal). For litter box maintenance, we use a Litter-Robot, so the task involves taking out and changing the bag once a week or as needed. Maintaining cleanliness is crucial because our cats are allergic to various allergens. Ensure there are no leftovers in the kitchen to prevent the cats from getting sick. Additionally, please check the window screens regularly to make sure they are secure and the cats cannot open them. We only use hypoallergenic treats for them, so no additional food or treats should be given. Lastly, we have 2-3 indoor plants that need to be watered twice a week.
