I am originally from Germany, but have been living in Canada for 20+ years. I have been living on this farm and operating it as a grazing operation for the past 10 years.The farm is nestled in the beautiful Ottawa Valley, right where the rich farmlands of the valley give way to the laurentian shield. The southern part of the farm is mostly pasture, with the northern part reaching into more rocky terrain that is typical for the laurentians. The land borders Long Lake with beautiful emerald water, that can be used for swimming etc. Gatineau park is just a few miles east, and Ottawa/Gatineau is approx. 80 km away... )(swimming is obviously not applicable to this particular stay - except, if you like to do (ice-) cold plunges :-D In this great region, there many opportunities to experience beautiful nature, and rich culture.
