I can classify myself as a professional house sitter, home manager and also fabulous air-bn-b-er! :) I owned an home managing/staging company in Austin in 2011 where I personally lived in and staged 10 multi-million dollar homes to sell! They all got contracts within 30-60 days of me entering the home! I applied on Homecarers.com to house sit a home in Cost Rica because I was moving there in 2012 and property managed two different properties for the three years I was there. I now live in Fort Worth, Tx where I own a Holistic Wellness Center. My fiance and I came to Puerto Rico when Hurricane Maria hit to help with the relief effort. He is a US Air force Veteran and is a Federal contractor. He can live anywhere to do his business. And we are looking at going back to PR this year to assist with the rebuild of communications and schools. We would love to house sit and take care of a property there. We love God, animals, nature, and the ocean! You would feel secure knowing people like us a... read more

My husband Gene and I have been married for 32 years and have raised 5 children. Over the years, we have traveled when we could and our favorite accommodation is to stay in a local home to help us feel more settled in to the area. Sometimes we have stayed in the home by ourselves; sometimes we stayed when the homeowners were home. Either way, we have always thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We've also been fortunate to host many travelers in our home over the years. We host mainly bicycle tourists, although we've also hosted Couchsurfing families. When I reflect back upon all the folks we have met over the years this way, I can truthfully say it's always been fun, interesting and left us feeling richer for the experience. We have always owned the home we live in and are familiar with general home maintenance, and that includes lawn/garden/landscaping maintenance and pool maintenance. We are neat and tidy. We also have several pets we hav... read more
Hello Homeowners!I am Julie Nagel and my husband’s name is Justin Nagel. We are seeking a professional housesitting employment opportunity in Washington, Colorado California, or Oregon. My husband and I are professionals—I am a speech pathologist and he is a business consultant. We recently wedded back in November and took a leap of faith following that in hopes to spend a year abroad volunteering with NGOs and animal conservation projects. When we left for our adventure, COVID-19 struck the earth and placed us in an unfortunate situation. We had both quit our jobs and saved just enough money to go on the adventure of a lifetime. We are currently back in the States and unemployed. Although our dreams have been placed on hold, we are eager to find a way to help others while still making the most of today. We are extremely outdoorsy and adventurous, but what we take pride in most is our affinity for animals and animal rights. We are compassionate and extremely honest and caring... read more
