Our brand new home (we can share plenty of other pictures) sits in the middle of the lush, beautiful and peaceful jungles of SW Costa Rica. Living in the jungle comes with many perks as well as many challenges 'fighting' off the jungle. We don't need to ask much of our sitter when it comes to maintenance of our home during their stay, but we expect them to ensure that bugs don't overrun the house (inside and out). This means vacuuming inside regularly, using the provided extension pole to knock out spider webs and other similar type "freeloaders" in and on the outside of the house. Ants are a massive pest in the jungle, especially leaf cutters that can take down garden plants in a matter of a day. We have a gardener who will come each week to tend the plants around the house and monitor for ants, but we will need our guest to keep a eye out for these types of ants as well (you can't miss them) and notify us whenever they see them on the property so we can address the issue as soon as p read more

5000 square meters of lush beautiful gardens and a private river located in a beautiful valley between two volcanoes in northern Costa Rica (1 1/2 hours from Liberia airport)... the area is lush rainforest in a valley between 2 volcanoes, warm in the daytime but not too hot, and cool in the nighttime... surrounded by rivers and mountain views. The house itself is very cute, small, cozy and clean and i can send some pictures upon request. It is a 2 bdrm one bathroom house with outdoor kitchen, lots of outdoor chill out space hammocks , yoga space, fire pit, tables and chairs, cushions etc... The house has hot water shower, a washer and dryer, gas and wood cooking stoves. We also have Wifi... great for a nature lover who wants to take long hikes and swim in pristine rivers. We have 3 cats one full grown and two kittens and 2 young pups (all outdoor pets) We are located 4kms from the nearest town so keep in mind its an hour walk into town or a 10 minute drive. read more
