Growing up my grandpa was diagnosed with both Diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease, leaving my family with no choice but to enroll him in assisted living. From the mere age of 10 years old I would visit him every day after school and made it my business to give attention to the other patients of his nursing home by playing games and talking with them. Very early on I learned to take care of others and their property.
