Hello, I live in a two-family house in a suburban area of Troy/Brunswick, NY. While I do rent, my landlord lives in the building connected to mine. I am looking for a housesitter to take care of my two rabbits for ~1 month (23rd of Oct to 3rd Dec.). I would prefer someone with experience with rabbits and caring for them. The rabbits need to be fed once a day (you are welcome to split into two meals, they always act starved lol). Litter boxes need to be cleaned once a week (different from cat litter, if you are familiar with rabbits you know). Sweeping and mopping done as needed. Troy is in Upstate NY, right next to the capital, Albany. There are many places to explore, including historic Saratoga and Lake George (40 min - 1 hr drive). We live in a 5000 square foot home on the water. We have two fish and four cats. There is no litter box - the cats go in and out for the bathroom (although we leave a window open for them during the day to do so). They are very independent and just need fresh food, water, and occasional snuggles/treats. The home is very comfortable with a nice kitchen to cook in, restaurants and a park a short walk away, and close to downtown Jacksonville (and other historic neighborhoods). We are eager to find a housesitter that will keep our home tidy and be careful with our animals. We also often have people working at the house on various projects -- housecleaning, home repair, yard work, etc. No one needs to be home for that but I like to give the heads up. We are looking for someone to watch both our home as well as our pets while we are away. Our home is just north of Santa Fe, only 15 minutes from the famous Santa Fe Plaza, in a beautiful quiet area. The home is very comfortable and is built in the old Santa Fe style of stucco walls as well as exposed beams. Most importantly for us, is someone who loves animals and will take good care of our four small dogs and cat. We live in the tranquil countryside in beautiful Connemara, 2 miles/3.2 km from the bus stop, so unless you love walking you need your own transportation. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place for you. We occasionally need someone to house sit and take care of a kelpie dog, 1 cat and 2 hens. The dog is very friendly once he gets to know and trust you. Our cat is very friendly, but she's a cat so it's on her terms. The hens are very easy to take care of and very friendly. A cozy, bright 2 bedroom terraced cottage where the river Liffey flows into Dublin Bay. A 25 minute walk to the city centre, the area is quiet and serene and contains every possible amenity: parks, beaches, playground, sporting pitches, marina all within a 25 minute walk of the city centre. Very good public transport links are right in the neighbourhood and it is a 25 minute cab ride from Dublin airport. But there are also very good bus links to the airport. The house is equipped with cable tv, wireless broadband, washer, gas fired central heat. There are 3 dogs resident who are the primary reason for a house sitter. One is an 11 yro old lurcher (greyhound/wolfehound mix) who is quite bossy. The 2 little guys are 5 yro brothers who are some sort of jack russel mix. There are so many lovely hikes, and some stunning beaches, this area is a crown jewel of Irelands East Coast.
The property is brand new, very specious, views of the sea etc.
In terms of our situation; we have 1 young cat, a British Shorthair. She's only 1 year old. She is very timid and shy, but very playful and loving once she feels safe. She never meows or cries (so she wont wake you up!!) She is a beautiful soul, and we really would like someone to be able to be there for her and support her, whilst we are away. Tasks will be:
-Feeding in late morning, she normally eats at 10am or 11am!
-Cuddles and a bit of play time during the day would be great
-Feeding at night, around 7pm or 8pm

A caring person interested in enjoying Summer in a triplex on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, close to a major subway stop, supermarkets and Riverside Park. The apartment has a terrace, and usual amenities like high-speed wifi. We need our two very friendly female cats looked after (fed, litter cleaned daily, kept company.--one of the cats needs medication, which is not difficult to administer.--not a lot of work) and the potted plants on our terrace watered. Our brand new home (we can share plenty of other pictures) sits in the middle of the lush, beautiful and peaceful jungles of SW Costa Rica. Living in the jungle comes with many perks as well as many challenges 'fighting' off the jungle. We don't need to ask much of our sitter when it comes to maintenance of our home during their stay, but we expect them to ensure that bugs don't overrun the house (inside and out). This means vacuuming inside regularly, using the provided extension pole to knock out spider webs and other similar type "freeloaders" in and on the outside of the house. Ants are a massive pest in the jungle, especially leaf cutters that can take down garden plants in a matter of a day. We have a gardener who will come each week to tend the plants around the house and monitor for ants, but we will need our guest to keep a eye out for these types of ants as well (you can't miss them) and notify us whenever they see them on the property so we can address the issue as soon as p read more
