I have always been an animal lover! My husband and I currently share our home with a shy dog and a confident cat. I currently volunteer weekly at a local cat shelter and foster for the shelter on an as needed basis. I also have been fostering for my local Humane Society for the last 12 years. Just before retiring, I began volunteering weekly for a visually impaired woman to help her with errands and miscellaneous tasks. Seasonally, I enjoy volunteering with the Boston Area Gleaners.
