Hi I’m Karla, a dual kiwi and British citizen who has lived in London for over a decade.
I am Head of Business Development at an international law firm specialised in the tech industry, and love my job. I’m usually in the office 3 days a week and work from home 2 days.
In my spare time I love traveling, good food (obsessed with good coffee) love practicing yoga, I read loads and am very partial to a Netflix true crime binge.
I’m very tidy and respectful of other people’s homes. I’m a non-smoker so would probably prefer a home that was the same, at least inside.
Rest assured, your pets will be in the best hands as I absolutely adore animals and take their well-being very seriously. I’ve been on the pet sitting platform Trusted Housesitters for more than 4 years with 34 5 star reviews from happy pet and home owners. I’ve had a load of valuable experience so will have your pets needs covered in every aspect. I’ve predominantly looked after dogs and cats of all ages and breeds. For dogs I’ve sat for breeds such as labradoodle and standard poodle, dachshund, Bull-Peo, Golden Retriever, Shih Tzu and Cocker Spaniels and cats including British Shorthair and Bengal and loads of lovely moggies. I’ve cared for pets who have come with special medical needs, including wound dressings, ear cleaning, administering medication and injections, and attending scheduled vet visits. I will look after any house plants, and if you have outdoor plants, just share instructions, and I’ll make sure they’re looked after. You can also expect a spotless and tidy home when you return! I’d be more than happy to arrange a convenient meeting or video call with you to make sure you feel comfortable with me.
