Hello, my name is Erin Field. I am a married mother of four who currently lives in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. My family moved from the Washington, DC area to Florida during the pandemic in the summer of 2020. And here we are 6 years later still loving Florida. My oldest son will be graduating from high school this spring and we are looking for various house sitting/ pet sitting opportunities to explore together. My son may or may not join me depending on the job and the specific requirements involved. My husband works from home and has the flexibility to take care of my other 3 children while I am away, especially during the summer months. Any opportunity that would allow for my children to visit from time to time while I am away would be most appreciated. My other three children are 11, 13, and 15 years of age. The reason I am interested in becoming a house sitter is because I know that I would be excellent in this type of position. I have managed a household raising 4 children for 18 years and would like to start a job that allows for travel and flexibility. I should also mention that our family has been very active in taking care of the many neighborhood cats that have stumbled our way. Upon moving to Florida, we encountered and abundant cat population. We have grown to love and care for these animals. Our family has worked with a local organization called 30A cats to help with various catch and release programs and ensure these animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. We've helped find homes for some of these sweet animals and have even adopted a few into our own home. I wanted to reference this experience and express my desire to care for those adopted family members who so often cannot accompany their pet parents on trips. As stated before I am looking for a job opportunity that provides flexibility and travel. As a longtime homeowner myself I understand what it takes to run a household. I am fastidious by nature and will ensure your home remains clean and cared for. I love to decorate and am always on the hunt for a new unique (often antique) home decor item. And as my husband would attest to, I'm always up for a new house project! I would be happy to share my past three homes that we have owned so that you may see what type of homeowner I am. I have stellar host review ratings on both Airbnb and Vrbo as we travel within the southeastern United States often. I should also note that I am somewhat of a homebody. I prefer reading, watching Netflix, working on home projects, and even cleaning.... yes cleaning!.. over being out on the town. Please consider my application to housesit your home. I will take great care of your home and/or animals while you are away and treat them as if they were my own.
