Emergency Departure Clause

In the unlikely event of a serious family emergency requiring the house sitter to leave the property unexpectedly (including, but not limited to, the death or critical illness of an immediate family member), the house sitter will:

1. Notify the homeowners immediately upon learning of the emergency.
2. Coordinate temporary care for all pets and property, utilizing pre-vetted local professionals, trusted neighbors, or emergency contacts provided by the homeowners.
3. Provide full instructions and documentation for ongoing care, feeding, medication, and security of the property.
4. Make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption to the household while attending to the emergency.

The homeowner acknowledges that such emergencies are unforeseen, and agrees that the house sitter will not be held liable for unavoidable delays or interruptions resulting from such circumstances.

Compensation & Availability

• Daily Rate: $250 – $350 per day for full-time solo placements, depending on property size, location, and number or type of pets.
• Weekly Rate: $1,500 – $2,500+ per week for full-time engagements.
• Monthly/Extended Stays: $6,000 – $10,000+ per month for high-value residences or assignments with multiple or specialized pets.
• Additional Considerations: Rates reflect the premium level of trust, discretion, and attention to detail provided, as well as the flexibility to work remotely from the property during stays.
• Availability: Year-round, domestic and international placements, with notice for travel arrangements.
