Hi everyone! I'm Adelaide, a working college student, dancer, animal enthusiast and writer! I love to travel and am currently pursuing my degree 100% online so I can also spend these years doing all the things I love with the people I love! I do freelance work, social media management and look forward to getting to know you and your fur babies! I get also super well with pretty much every animal I've met, and can't wait to meet yours!
Experience: Oh my where do I even start! I have had dogs since I was 3 years old, got my very first (and long asked for) cat at 4 years old, experienced rasing my first litter of kittens at 5 years old and got my very own miniature white Maltese poodle mix at 7! We had many different farm animals growing up, including chickens, ducks, turkeys, and goats, and I also helped care for our neighbors horses and dogs many a winter while they were away in sunny Hawaii. I have had the privilege of owning many rescue animals over the years including a German shepherd, border collie mix, chihuahua, miniature Maltese poodle mix, and three different cats! In addition to our little farm I added a few cheerful parrokets and numerous fish. Then there are the infamous goldfish, Fred and Ginger, that have almost outgrown their tank and get slightly aggressive at feeding time! I have done multi week pet sitting twice for a sweet dog named Sammi, in addition to watching the owners home and plants in the middle of winter. I have also done weekend dog and bird tending, and taken care of friends cats while they were out of town, simply being left with a key to come and tend the kittys multiple times per day. In addition to my experience with many dog and cat breeds of all sizes, I have horse experience as well. I've worked on a ranch, done some play days and a trick riding course, and spent lots of time cleaning stalls and spreading hay in return for riding time!
What you can expect: Having peace of mind while your away is super important, and I love being the person you can trust to take care of your precious critters and watch over your home while you enjoy some time off! -Dependable, quality service you can trust. -Sit summary: Pet care, house care and any details you need to know from the duration of the stay. -Fully clean, fresh house when you return: laundry, fresh sheets, dishes, floors and bathroom fully clean. I look forward to spending time with your pets, throwing a toy while I'm doing homework or taking them with me for a long walk or evening run. Setting a clear outline of your desires for home and pet care is top priority, and I am open to scheduling phone or zoom calls prior to the booking start dates as well! And I will always send lots of update pictures while your away! (Just tell me if they get too frequent ☺️) |
