Hello, my name is Erica Page, 44 years and my husband is 47. He is my best friend and we enjoy playing music together in our acoustic duo band and also in an 4 member band. We love nature trails and the beach, going on walks and learning something new every day. We take pride in our work ethics and our commitment. We have more empathy than most and believe in supporting people of all walks of life and keep a nonjudgmental mindset. We have 4 children 2 each from previous marriage. Only one will be traveling with us majority of the time, and in summer months, might just be the 2 of us as we share custody. mother & have 2 beautiful daughters ages 14 and 19 and my husbands kids are son 16, and daughter 15. I have 20+ years experience in nursing/ in healthcare-in various leadership positions: Nurse Manager 24/7 StepDown Unit-VA Hospital, Clinical Educator, Director of Professional Services/Clinical & Billing Manager-Home Health Care. I am looking for unique opportunities to care for people & children. I’m caring/empathetic more than most & get joy in helping people care for their homes so they can travel for work or pleasure. We have 2 Australian Shepherds who are so smart and athletic and love to be by their personal’s side and protect them. This breed is nicknamed the “Velcro Dog”. They could travel with us only if theh Home owners are allowing pets, but may stay home with family in most cases. We love challenges and enjoy researching/analysis. My motto-no stupid questions/we can learn something new daily. I will care for your home and pets like our own & offer a lot of experience, good work ethics, manners and respect for others and their property. We are considerate and stay humble and out of drama. With our backgrounds we have excellent critical thinking skills/nursing judgement in caring/nurturing your family . My services include healthcare monitoring, patient advocacy, healthcare consultation and support, care management including private personal assistant services such as advanced level private home care-medication management and advanced case management and clinical skills and close monitoring. I have been updated on BLS Certification since 1998, and a CPR/BLS instructor who enjoys teaching. My husband has a plethora of construction work experience with specialty in metal fabrication, dock work, and supervisory training and handyman skills as well as professional experience in music industry as a drummer in multiple bands and offers drum lessons and beginners guitar for kids. A month and a half - Advanced Caregiver, Care Manager, Scheduled 24/7 Sitter Coverage for Mother as the Primary Patient Advocate & Liaison on behalf of the patient and her family to closely monitor 1:1 and to provide nursing care, IV hydration, ADL daily activities including preparing meals, bathing, turning , wound care, prevention measures for skin breakdown, risk of pneumonia and falls, pain management, foley insertion and monitoring intake and output - follow up with Primary Care Physician and Home Care Staff, obtain urine sample, order supplies with Daughter’s direction, Pet Care, House Care, Deep Cleaning, Coordinate and Communication of daily updates and plan of care. Then moved into Hospice and Palliative Care and stayed with patient 6 days a week, ran errands, laundry and other house or care needs as patient or family needed, provided comfort care and companionship and tend to all physical, mental, emotional, social support services. I became very close to the patient and family and stay in good contact still today as I cared for Ms. Todd until she passed away. Was truly an honor and a blessing to be apart of her last days and become like one of the family to an amazing family that were so caring and loving and gave Ms. Todd anything and everything she needed during her difficult time. I’m grateful for the experience.
