Hi There! My name is Katharina, I am 33 years old and originally from Germany, but I have been living as a digital nomad for over 4 years now, traveling the world full-time on my own. I'm an absolute animal lover! Animals have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. I grew up with cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, and farm animals - I can't imagine a life without animals! That's why I love having animal companionship during my travels, as it makes me feel at home anywhere in the world! This was our first time using this platform and our experience with Katharina was simply amazing. She clearly set the bar high for future sitters ;-) Katharina loves animals and our two dogs warmed up to her within minutes. We had such a relaxing holiday knowing that the boys were in good hands. Katharina communicates very efficiently and also took excellent care of our house. We had few service appointments where workers needed access to the house and Katharina made sure this was the case.
I can only recommend Katharina to anyone who is looking for a house/pet sitter, especially for more long term sits (> 4 weeks). We hope to have her back at some point!

Kathy has been absolutely exceptional with our two dogs. She has gone above and beyond in every measure, looking after the dogs so carefully, and lovingly. Even taking them with her on a trip when we had a travel crisis and arranging food and vets visits and managing the treatment for paws and an infection. They obviously adore her as well. We couldn't have asked for better and we are so very grateful for the love a d care she has given.

I can’t say enough good things about Kathy. She took exceptional care of our pets, our house was spotless, she sent frequent photos and updates, and took great care of our vehicle. Our dog was living his very best life with Kathy, going on walks galore and adventures in the mountains. He’s been depressed since she left. If it was possible to give Katharina 10 stars in every category, I would definitely do so. She is an extraordinary pet-sitter and overall great person. Kathy stayed with our 9-1/2 year-old Siberian Husky, Keebler, for almost two weeks. He is a shy dog, often reluctant to warm up to strangers and has multiple health issues. I could tell immediately that he was going to bond well with Kathy, and he most certainly did. She is very intuitive and knew exactly the best approach with Keebler. She communicated with us throughout our trip, including alerting us to a health problem he experienced, and she handled it perfectly. She administered his medication properly, came up with some stimulating activities for him, and took great care of him, above and beyond our expectations.
Besides her superb pet care, she left our home in immaculate condition. I wouldn't even know that someone had lived in it for almost two weeks, it was so clean and tidy! She even filled my car's gas tank!
My husband and I feel like we had a family member taking care of our dog and home - she was SO lovely and caring.
I can't say enough good things about Kathy, and hope we will be able to engage her services again.

I couldn’t ask for a better sitter than Katharina. She accepted the sit last minute when another sitter I had line up cancelled, which was very much appreciated. She was very communicative, sent daily updates and was understanding when some of our travel plans changed. She took excellent care of my cat Odin and my cat loved her. She also kept my apartment very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Katharina for any sit.

I listed a house/pet sit on August 15 and Kathy was one of over 10 candidates that were interested in caring for my home and partner, Avana, an American Akita. I requested a zoom interview with her and her responses were prompt, kind and she arranged the call with great detail - all I needed to do was take her call. We spoke at length about all the fine details of the expectation and she answered each of my questions with thoughtfulness and clear communication (this was my first experience with the program). I interviewed all of my candidates and she well exceeded all others - I knew she would be the perfect fit. It was 2 1/2 months before the stay and Kathy was sure to stay in touch and efficient in responding to all the texts I sent and requests I made of her. I picked her up from the airport the day of my departure and Avana and I shared several hours with her getting to know one another and making sure we were both comfortable with the "hand-off". I was out of the country for 6 weeks and during that time, Kathy and I often communicated. She kindly sent me pictures and videos of her and Avana on their many adventures and I could see the bond between them was unique. My dog does not warm up to strangers but with Kathy she looked like she was in love! They were the perfect pair and my heart was filled with joy knowing all was well at home. When I arrived home, Kathy had made cookies in the shape of a dog for me and left a bottle of special holiday wine we had talked about before. Many kind notes were also awaiting me which was so sweet. My home and Porsche SUV were immaculate - I had left her my vehicle because I felt so comfortable with her.
Although Kathy and I missed each other by a day upon my return, we promised to see each other again when we could - she has become like a sister to me and her kindness, thoughtfulness and genuinely loving heart has left an impression on both Avana and myself.

There could be no one better suited for house sitting and pet care than Kathy!
