We are a retired couple, married for 37 years, splitting our time between the island of Roatan, Honduras, where we live six months of the year, and St. Charles, Missouri. I am originally from Missouri while my wife is a native of Honduras. We are both bilingually fluent in English and Spanish. Our life in Roatan is active and fulfilling with the many outreach programs with which we are involved with me teaching at a local outreach program, sharing my early career experience in construction to empower others.
We are flexible and seeking short-term housing options outside Honduras for a few months (2-5) each year to explore new places while staying connected to our family and friends around the world.
My professional background spans over 30 years in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) primarily with Boeing in St. Louis, Missouri, from 1997 to 2020. This position afforded a variety of diverse life experiences domestically and globally (Australia, Hungary, India, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, and the UK).
Patty established and operated for over 15 years a successful bilingual educational programs K-12 in the St. Louis area prior to our moving to Europe in 2009.
My educational background includes an M.S. in Industrial Hygiene from Central Missouri State University, an M.Ed. in Secondary Education from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, a B.S. in Biology with a Chemistry minor from Missouri State University, and studies in General Theology at Covenant Theological Seminary.
