Seasoned Rotarian who founded a management consulting firm foucused on HR, talent management and transformation after working with PwC, KPMG, and Deloitte earlier in my career.  I advise primarily from home while husband, Steve, a VP with a national bank, focuses on transforming operations. 

I started house sitting for my professors while I was in college 30+ years ago.  We have extensive experience caring for your home and pets with as much respect as if they were our own. We have a small well-behaved rescue dog named Cassie who was found on the side of the road in rural NC in January of 2025. She had obviously been badly abused. We bonded with each other immediately and go very few places without her.  She travels everywhere with us but tends to hide in her travel kennel or other quiet dark spaces.

We cared for Spencer and Holly's almost 4 year old daughter, Clara, who has Down's Syndrome and some special medical needs, their small dog, Penny, and their 6th floor condominium in Charlotte, NC while they had held their dream wedding outside London at Thornbury Castle in The Cotswolds, and honeymooned in Paris.

This was a last minute 'emergency' sitting opportunity created when the nurse who was going to stay with Clara had to back out a week or so prior to Holly and Spencer's departure date.

Not only have we become good friends, Clara now calls my 6'4" husband, Steve, "Big Papa". Being able to care for Clara, Penny, and their home was an honor.

I was onsite every day from 4:15 PM until 7:30 AM when I was relieved by the daytime nurses. I slept in the home and provided light housekeeping including keeping the laundry caught up so that Spencer and Holly would not need to think about having to do it when they returned. We had Clara 24/7 each weekend.
