Assignment Description:

5000 square meters of lush beautiful gardens and a private river located in a beautiful valley between two volcanoes in northern Costa Rica (1 1/2 hours from Liberia airport)... the area is lush rainforest in a valley between 2 volcanoes, warm in the daytime but not too hot, and cool in the nighttime... surrounded by rivers and mountain views. check out the gallery of the website for the small retreat center we run on the property for many pictures (www.echoesoflightretreats.com) . The house itself is very cute, small, cozy and clean and i can send some pictures upon request.  It is a 2 bdrm one bathroom house with outdoor kitchen, lots of outdoor chill out space hammocks , yoga space, fire pit, tables and chairs, cushions etc... The house has hot water shower, a washer and dryer, gas and wood cooking stoves. We also have Wifi... This is an amazing opportunity for a writer’s getaway or a retreat for those who wish to “disconnect”, great for artists who wish to paint or do art in an quiet inspirational environment, great for a Yogi looking for a quiet place to practice and meditate, great for a nature lover who wants to take long hikes and swim in pristine rivers. we have a lovely super friendly tibetan terrier (small shaggy white dog) who is 10 years old and very calm and quiet, as well as a young 3 yr old golden retriever and a cat (all outdoor pets) we also have a pair of turkey and some chickens. We prefer if those who stay have at least basic gardening skills and are willing to make an effort to keep the house and outdoor spaces clean. We are a bit isolated in the mountains but live close to the small town of Bijagua (4.5 kms) where there is a bank, supermarkets, vet, pharmacy, etc...we will be leaving our car for sitter(s) to use to go into town for supplies once or twice per week (it is an old uninsured car so we do not want people to use it other than for what is strictly necessary and close by) Thank you!
