2 Bedroom cottage on the sea in very rural setting on Achill Island. 4 Chimneys looks back at the picturesque mainland (Currane) across a tidal inlet. The sea literally laps at the back yard. The location is extremely beautiful and the house was previously owned by English writer Honor Tracy. It has been recently lovingly refurbished (by my partner who is a carpenter) and is extremely cosy and comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and a great space to spend time in. The views from the house are stunning. There is a solid fuel range which heats the central heating system and water system and also a separate stove in the sitting room. It is a much loved property that we must leave behind for a 3/4 months and we need someone trustworthy and respectful to take care of it in our absence and to enjoy the unique natural setting.
