Hi there! I have a last-minute need for a house-sitter in a very cute shotgun house in Uptown New Orleans with a yard and close to Audubon Park, Riverbend, Carrollton St, and Tulane and Loyola. The house is located just up the street from Singleton's PoBoys and a 5-minute walk to Tartine's. Safe neighborhood, friendly neighbors.

Who I am: I live part-time in France with my husband and dogs. Sorry pet-lovers, my dogs are with me in France at the moment. My baby daughter and I are in New Orleans during the school year where I am working on a PhD at Tulane University in partnership with my French university.

House-sitting duties: You would have the master bedroom in the back of the house with its own entrance and private entrance to the shared bathroom. My roommate has a 3-year-old and twin babies and is moving out on December 31st and my new roommate arrives on January 1st. I basically just need you to check mail and get the keys from the current roommate and give them to the new roommate upon his arrival.
