My name is Corey Lakin. I am a mature responsible 64 yr old single female with a life time of experience as both a homeowner and House Sitter. Over the years I’ve managed every aspect of many Multi Million Dollar Estates from coast to coast.

I currently spend my time between San Clemente & Carlsbad California and the North Shore in Kauai. 

I have been caring for people, homes and animals my whole life. The last 20 yrs I’ve been house/pet sitting regularly for family and friends so I decided to join this site in hopes to expand my experiences. 

I have 50 yrs of experience as a pet owner raising & caring for mostly large breed dogs including Pit Bulls ❤️ (I have an affinity for this breed) Akitas, Doberman Pinchers, German Shepherds, Labrador Retrievers, Germain Short hair Pointers, Newfoundland/Shepard mix & small breeds including Lhasa Apsos & Cocker Spaniels, Cats and goats. I love animals and treat my pets like my kids much to the dismay of some people who obviously don’t understand or agree.😊 

I am extremely flexible and love to keep busy both in and outside. I have years  of experience remodeling personal homes as well as working with my General Contractor father remodeling luxury homes in California. 

I happily welcome “Special Requests” anything you’d like taken care of while you’re away. Including organizing drawers, closets, garages, gardening, mowing, scheduling & overseeing cleaning & repairs, refinishing furniture, cabinets and even painting….

I can provide photos of pieces of furniture I’ve refinished and other painting projects I’ve done. 

I guarantee your home and or pets will be loved and cared for as if they were my own.
