Hello,

My Wife, Sam and I are new grandparents of twins to our Son and Daughter-in-law living in Boca Raton, Florida.  We would like to visit the area frequently from our home in Northwestern Ontario where We are slowly developing our off grid homestead where we live with our two dogs, Oscar and Nina, a growing flock of chickens and two geese.

Sam and I are both trying to be semi-retired.  I still work as a licensed security guard at a mine site after 35 years as an electronics tech.  Sam has worked for over 20 years in senior care, mainly in secure units for those with dementia/alzheimers and She continues to work in acute, long term and home care in our nearby towns and area.

In addition to the homestead we try to take advantage of our short summers to enjoy sailing our 27 ft sloop on Lake Superior out of a beautiful small marina in Red Rock, Ontario, at the mouth of the Nipigon River.

We first became aware of house/pet sitting when looking for someone to look after Oscar, Nina and our chickens in 2018 and posted on a Canadian house and pet sitting site.  We found a neighbor who kindly kept an eye on things but have been intrigued by the possibilities for travel on a budget that house/pet sitting offers.  I will be adding a listing on this site for our own property for anyone who is interested in visiting this area with a motorhome, camper or tent and would be willing to feed and care for our animals while we travel.
