About Nancy Klein:

I am a mature, professional (educator) female; a non-smoker, non-partier, and a previous home-owner. Living in your home, I will treat it as I have my own; will happily take care of your plants, your garden, your cat and/or dog, and sort your mail. Upon your return. your home will be cleaner than when you left and your fridge will be well stocked. Currently, I am housesitting in Westchester County, New York. With my belongings in storage, I am "foot loose and fancy free" with an open and flexible schedule. I am available for short as well as long-term "assignments" including up to a year or more.  While I consider Rhode Island my home, I am happy to move elsewhere for the "perfect fit" situation.

Nancy Klein was a perfect house and cat sitter. She handled everything wonderfully during the holidays for 10 days: 2 cats with all their needs, the apartment, the cold weather and snow, mail, plant watering etc. Nancy noticed that one of our cats was not eating; she contacted me. We arranged for the vet to come. Good thing! Cat had a UTI. Nancy was able to manage twice daily medications. Cat was well on her way to recovery when we returned home.Everything was in order when we returned-- such a relief to have confidence that things would be well taken care of while we were away. I would highly recommend Nancy.

Nancy saved our vacation when she cheerfully volunteered to pet-sit for us with only 24 hours notice! The sitter we had originally arranged had a last minute emergency and couldn’t come. And we can’t kennel our very old German Shepherd, as she is too frail. So what a relief when Nancy agreed to come. And what a great pet sitter she is! We own 2 older dogs - one of which is very frail - and also a cat. Nancy looked after them all superbly. Her communications through the week were much appreciated too. When we returned home, the animals were in great shape, and the place was spotless. We’d have her back again in a New York minute! We are very grateful to her.
