Designed by Alain Semmell, a well-known local modernist architect, Villa Igloo is an exclusive artist owned villa in peaceful and secure grounds, nestled in a wooded valley close to the medieval village of Biot, between Cannes and Nice, only 5 km from Mediterranean beaches and the old town of Antibes. Located just 30 minutes from Nice airport, Villa Igloo is a unique base from which to explore the Cote d’Azur, its spectacular scenery (mountain and sea), and wide-ranging sporting and cultural activities.
The villa needs the loving care of happy reliable house-sitters to look after the property, and undertake some gardening, general ground and pool maintenance. The property is currently for sale and needs to be in pristine condition when people visit. We would welcome practical, trustworthy and active house-sitters looking for peace and quiet, perhaps the inspiration to paint, write or compose, while taking good care of the property. We offer a fully equipped villa (280m˛) and potentially use of a small car. There is a piano, Sky TV, table-tennis. The only home utilities that you would need to cover are electricity and internet. In the meantime, if you would like to run it as a bed&breakfast for paying guests, this would be possible since we have 4 separate suites. The property is already set up on AirB&B although currently not visible.
