Our family needs a home/farm sitter for three weeks in August 2012 so we can enjoy a family camping vacation. Our farm is located in Southwestern Ontario on a quiet paved road within 10 minutes of shopping and 30 minutes to the nearest city. The best candidate(s) must have a valid driver's license, have experience with horses and cats and be non-smokers. Responsibilities include, daily cleaning four stalls, feeding our four horses, three times per day with morning turnout and evening return to stalls. We also need you to look after our house cat and feed the spoiled barn cats. Property maintenance includes regular grass mowing with your choice of riding lawn mower, weekly addition of chlorine to the pool and some light gardening. Close enough to shopping, but a quiet rural setting with friendly neighbours. The farm includes a five acre woodlot connecting neighbouring properties with wildlife tracts, frequented by deer and wild turkeys. Our home has two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, Execulink internet access and satellite TV. For those hot summer days, our above-ground swimming pool is sure to keep you cool.
