We live in a beautiful green area with sea view on Mediterranean.
Ours, is a lovely home (three bedroom/two bath plus library/study / kitchen/living room, solarium terrace and a very big garden of 2400 sqm, in the south of Italy, in Sicily island, near the province of Trapani (15 minutes by car) in the traditional agricultural valley of Valdericino. It's close to swimming, hiking, mountain biking trails and archeological sites.
In the neighborhood (2-3 mile radius), there are several restaurants, some winery with tasting room, historical sites, some grocery store, a wellness center, a bibliotheque, and many more else. The house has a gorgeous 180° sea-view. The courtyard has a barbecue grill and outdoor a shady dining table.
We have a beloved dog: her name is Namu.
We are a commercial diver and a copywriter who travel extensively.
We are searching for a house sitter. We prefer a neat and mature active couple (retired or not / better if Italian speaking), preferably travelers who are non-smokers.
We will ask you to perform some garden watering and care, pick up the fruits (for your consumption!) and general maintenance and care of the house. The outdoor space requires little care (some mowing is needed in the growing season). We’ll ask you also to do some painting (walls/windows/railings) and to do some little easy work DIY.

We are looking also for someone who will adore our pup as much as we do. Namu, our dog, loves running and hiking. She has the garden to play, but we usually take her out in the morning. She has her meal once a day (in late afternoon/evening). There are lots of great places to walk around the area.
There are also awesome beaches that you can relax, soak up the rays and have a "refreshing" swim too (maybe better with a wetsuit!). The winter in Sicily is never too cold (African coasts are very near from here).
Our house has WiFi, sensational atmosphere and a great location. You will fall in love with it.
You will need your own transportation, although there is a local bus to go to the city of Trapani, and there are regional buses to Palermo,and the main airports. This is rural living - we have well water, and there is garbage pick up (not for the organic, we compost it).
We are looking for responsible, honest, clean and friendly house sitters.
We ask for some tangible evidence of your commitment in advance: e.g., local reference, copy of airfare receipt or personal check (to hold only - we don't want your money, just a gauge of serious intent). WiFi and other utilities included. We will provide with a house sitting AGREEMENT, to take care of each other's requirements.
