We are looking for a house sitter for a two week period during the middle to the end of April 2016, and for up to a month in the July/August 2016 period. We will be traveling to England where our daughter will be attending graduate school.
We have two female yellow labs and two indoor-only cats. The dogs are indoor/outdoor pets who sleep in our bedroom but can roam our property with their electric collars/invisible fence when they are out. They also love to go for walks. Duties would be minimal aside from caring for the animals, such as taking out the trash once a week (or possibly shoveling the walkways if it snows in April.). We have a weekly housecleaning service. We prefer a house sitter who does not work full time, since the animals are used to lots of attention and company during the day.
We live on 5 wooded acres with mountain views, south of Parker, CO. Our home is a nearly 4000 sq ft cedar mountain-style house with 4 bedrooms and a large deck with mountain views.
We are a retired professional couple who travel extensively and have used house sitters many times in the past for trips up to 6 weeks. Unfortunately, the housesitters we used for the past several years are now renovating their home to sell and are not available for these time periods. |
