House Sitting Opportunity. Lehigh Acres, Florida

Assignment Description: |
We are looking for a single person or a couple to care for our home and animals for a little over 10 months.
When:
August 24, 2015 to July ?, 2016
We will finish our assignment at the end of June, but would like to travel for a few weeks.
Where: Southwest Florida 1/2 acre lawn in quite neighborhood with a grocery next door. 1 hour to Ft. Myers Beach and Sanibel Island. Several State Parks are close by, there are two city parks within a mile for exercise and activities. Two hours to Miami or Tampa, 4 hours to the Keys, one hour to the Everglades.
Our Home:
We have a modest home in an neighborhood that has 42 houses. There are no vacant homes in our neighborhood and only two that have seasonal residents, making it safe, but private.
All utilities are included with a cap on the amount, which will be equal to our usual amount.
Cable and internet are included.
Basic home cleaning.
Pets:
- Old poodle who is needy - bad hips and bathroom issues will explain. He is 13 lbs.
- Mixed 14 lb dog - who is almost normal. Periodic Meds.
- 2 year old Cockatoo learning to speak - well behaved - loving but she is a cockatoo and is periodically loud. No meds but food and cage cleaning, as well has daily handling.
We will leave detailed instructions and helpful hints.
Our Yard:
Our yard is work. We usually do the front in an hour and the back in two. The front is weekly and back is e/o week in rainy season April to November and half as much in the dry season. We have both riding and push mowers, as well as all the other tools to make it easier.
