PARK WITH FRIENDLY DOGS - HELP WITH THE DOGS *
- Animal care: There is a pack of 16 friendly, small dogs and we would really appreciate help looking after them; playing with and training them, sometimes preparing their food and feeding them. We also have to give them medicine and sometimes bring them to the vets, if needed. This all means that an animal-loving nature, veterinary skills and/or dog-training ability are all welcome. Come and see what paradise looks like through a dog’s eyes. We are sure that our loving pack will appreciate all the care and attention you give to them and we would be very thankful for your help too!
Our dogs are friendly and easy to manage. During the mornings, on weekdays, we have a helping woman who helps for looking for the dogs as well as clean after them. But you will be asked to assume responsability while we are travelling and look for them with love and care. Some of them do need to take medicine twice a day, which is not difficult, but it means a responsability from somebody who is around here. You do not need walk the dogs, because our park area is big enought and we don´t want them to go to the street.

THE SPACE *
We are in a beautiful natural setting full of mango and other fruit trees, palms, etc. next to a river and environmental preservation land. It lies near the charming, seaside village of Arembepe (about half hour walking distance).
We believe in the loving healing power of nature; our dream is that more and more people become integrated to this powerful, unique love, for the good of all and of our planet. In our space people can experience harmony with nature.
Hidden away in the Environmental Conservation Area of Rio Capivara, close to the beach village of Arembepe, Sítio Folha d'Água is a natural sanctuary perfect for those seeking inner peace and wellness.
We do offer you to stay in our little ecological earth lodge for guests (single room with private bathroom), constructed in a traditional native indian style with thatched roofs, but equipped with modern facilities and internet access, making them suitable for those seeking a rustic retreat or wishing to engage in creative pursuits such as taking a sabbatical, writing or painting.
The sounds of nature are enchanting: the wind in the treetops, the birds, the various animals from the environmental preservation area, occasional cicada concerts or the sudden surprise of an owl singing at night.
You can simply rest, reflect and meditate, be alone or in a group. The Sítio facilitates connections with nature, making it also suitable for groups and organizations to arrange workshops, symposiums, research projects and meditation retreats.
The feelings of extreme well-being and lightness caused by the environment are favorable for learning and healing processes.
We do have two ecological bungalows, one of them has a double loft bed on a mezzanine that comfortably accommodates two people. On the lower floor there is a cosy living room where a double mattress or hammocks can be added, if required. The other bungalow don´t have a mezzanine.

Guest Access, housing *
Our ecological bungalow has a double bed and nice hand-made furniture, and comfortably accommodates two people. Modern facilities ensure a totally stress-free stay. These include a clean and well-ventilated private bathroom with a hot shower. You will also have the use of the external kitchen, well equipped. We mostly are able to provide the use of our wireless internet service. Sometimes the official internet provider is not working, in which case you can go to a nearby internet café in Arembepe. Some of these also have printers, scanners, and fax machines in addition to broadband internet service.
You will have access to all common areas of the Sítio, such as the swimming pool, meditation pavilion or hammocks amongst the mango trees. |
