Our home is located outside of Port Austin, MI. It is a three bedroom , 2 bathroom home, situated on 1 acre. We do not live on the lake, but live close to woods...deer and turkeys wander through our yard. It isn't luxurious, but is a nice home. We have dogs and cats who will need to be cared for while we are gone. We have someone hired to plow the driveway if necessary. Our son is an army doctor, completing his 4th year residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Oahu. We hope to visit him and his family for Christmas. We have 4 older dogs...all rescues and 3 cats ages 1-11. All are in pretty good health, and don't need much extra in the way of care. They are all quite laid back. If you are interested in spending Christmas in a small town in Michigan, please let me know. It's a very pretty area...not much shopping in town, but Bad Axe (about 17 mikes away) has all the usual shopping "experiences". |
