Hi! My name is Melissa and I am enthusiastic professional women from North Carolina, US who is looking for an opportunity to fully immerse myself and my very responsible 17-year-old daughter into a culture different from our own this summer, 2020. I have been a teacher and a principal for the last 25 years in the US, which affords me the opportunity to get away for a month or so during the summers. I truly love working with kids, but my first love is animals. We have 2 dogs, 2 fish, and a bearded dragon at home that my husband and college son will be looking after while we are abroad. Throughout my life I have had various pets including a rabbit, cat, rat, and 5 dogs. -About me, and what type of jobs I'm seeking.Hello, My name is Kristen and I am an avid World traveler. Over the last 15 years I have lived in China, Hawaii, Switzerland, and the United States. I Will come to the end of my work contract in spring of 2024 and I am looking to take a sabbatical of 3 to 12 months, possibly longer and I would love to spend that time in a new location house sitting. I have secured a few shorter house sitting contracts in southern California in April, they are near LA but in a more quiet area in the mountains. Still with easy access to the Coast. I would also love to find a long-term situation in California, a month or more. I am open to Hawaii if possible. I formerly lived in Kona for 2 years. I was doing graphic design and communication for a medical ships program. I would love to find my way back onto any of the islands.
