We live 10 miles south of Columbus, TX in Altair. Right behind Rice High School. We are in a secluded lot on 5 acres. There are neighbors, but you can't see them.
We have 2 female bull terriers. One is 7 and is a little grumpy (not too much) and likes to lay around 90% of the time. The other is 7 months and is actually quite calm for a puppy of that age. Likes to play fetch for about 5 minutes at a time.
We have chickens, guineas, geese and tilapia. Pretty easy care. Open the doors in the morning, close the doors at night, fill up the feed buckets once or twice a week, toss in a cup of food to the tilapia, and the most fun, herding the 2 geese into their pen in the evening...not so hard after you learn how to "steer" them! Oh, and collect and eat as many eggs as you can!
We have 3 or 4 freezers, a fridge, 2 pantries all overflowing with food which is up for grabs to our sitters. FREE FOOD! That always gets my attention. :-)

House sit in Austin, Texas for our cat "Lupita" and our dog "Olita" from December 22nd 2017 to January 3rd 2018. We are looking for an individual or couple to care for our pets, maintain the cleanliness of our home, and water the plants as needed. The newly renovated house is a two bedroom/two bathroom fully equipped and comfortable place to enjoy Austin from. We are located in "South Austin, 78704" which will put you right in the heart of many restaurants, music venues, and stores. Public transportation is right at our corner and can take you anywhere in the city. Uber and Lyft are also available. This time of year is particularly festive in Austin and we are minutes away from Zilker Park which is decorated for an event called "The Trail of Lights". Walking, hiking, bike riding, kayaking, paddle boarding, and attending any of the hundreds of events are all available. We are going on vacation and would love to know our furry friends are cared after as if we were here. The house is a 2 story, 3 bed + office, 2.5 bath, 2 living areas and a big fenced in back yard with a pool (currently under construction), backing up to a greenbelt with trails.
We are very close to a large shopping center - La Frontera (Walmart, HEB, Sam\'s, Target, many restaurants) and downtown Round Rock is just a few minutes away for a night scene with bars. You will need a car to get around, public transportation doesn\'t really start until you get further into Austin. However, we have many ride-shares available (UBER, Lyft, etc...). Feed our 3 dogs & cat daily, make sure they have fresh water, and let the dogs out several times a day, the cat is indoor only. The dogs are not allowed in the front rooms or kitchen and Hunter & Bella like to sleep in the office upstairs, so make sure that door always stays open.
