This Summer, my partner and I will be traveling to central Europe, and we need a responsible couple or individual to watch over our home and operate a two room Airbnb within it. Wine, hiking, Shakespeare--explore the Rogue Valley from our woodland retreat!
Ashland is a popular destination, with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and great dining and arts. There are dozens of wineries around. In 2016 Ashland was named one of the top 10 wine travel destinations by Wine Enthusiast. Crater Lake is a great day trip when it is open (it's snowed in in the winter). We have lots of hiking, including part of the Pacific Crest Trail which passes through east of Ashland. There are beautiful rivers and lakes to explore as well. The climate here is very Northern Californian--arid summers and mild winters with occasional snow. If you're flying in we'd be happy to pick you up at the airport and let you use our car during your stay. 3 bedroom 2 story home with young Westie dog located 20-30 minutes from Oregon wine country, 20 minutes from Portland and beautiful Lake Oswego. Outdoor areas include enclosed front patio with seating, privacy fenced back yard garden with gas BBQ and table for eating. HOA workout gym, 2 blocks away, along with seasonal heated outdoor pool. Many walking and biking paths. Our Westie needs 3 walks each day...1 mid-late morning, 1 mid-late afternoon, each 20-30 minutes ending with bedtime walk after 9:30pm short 5 minutes. Guest bedroom includes TV and twin beds, which can be put together to make a king bed. Separate desk work area with printer for those working from home. Additional small computer desk in TV area. Guest bath in hallway outside bedroom. Also a piano for those who play. Best suited for single or couple, not suitable for a family.
