We own a big old comfortable house (1800-1830) which we have done extensive work to over the 35 years we've lived here. Like any old house, ours sometimes needs a little extra care. We travel a lot, especially during the winter, and we have always had a friend or relative stay in the house while we are gone for extended periods. This year, 2 of those relatives are traveling with us and we have no one to actually live here. Fortunately, we do have a great next door neighbor who watches our house like a hawk and has been very helpful on those occasions when an issue has arrived, and our sitter didn’t know quite what to do. Hi! We have a new 1y 2mo old black lab we just adopted. We don't want to disrupt her routine at our house or make her overly anxious while we are away, so we were hoping to get someone to stay with her at our house and maintain her new schedule.
Additionally, we are doing a bathroom remodel and we would appreciate someone checking on the progress of the project and who will reach out if there are any construction questions or concerns.
Our home is a 3b 2.5bt home with lots of stairs! We are tall and skinny, as you can see from the photo. Our home has water views from every level, and a roof deck to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine. We have parking, although it might be a little crowded with our contractors. I'm looking for a house/cat sitter for my small house on our farm in Dudley, MA. The house is 500 ft. off the road in a wooded setting. The 1000 sq. ft. house is essentially an open floor plan living room, kitchen, dining room, with a bedroom/office loft. There is a west-facing deck and a patio to the east. You would pay the utilities. The house is suitable for one person or a couple. It is not suitable for children.
