My name is Richard Price. My husband and I live in Westminster, but we own an apartment in Paris and we often travel out of the country to Paris and on cruises for long periods of time (from one to four months at a time). We are looking for someone to be a house-watcher while we are gone.
Basically, we would like someone to come to our house once a week and do the following:
Throw away any newspapers or fliers on the front porch or on the driveway.
Check for any items that have been delivered and left on the front porch.
Go through our mail and throw away any obvious advertisements or junk mail.
Make sure no electric device is malfunctioning, (i.e., make sure the smoke alarm is working OK, alarm clocks are not buzzing, etc.)
Flush the toilets and run the faucets for a few minutes.
Water the lawn (front & back) with the garden hose. (We will have our sprinklers turned off while we are gone.)
In total, I suspect that this will take no more than an hour. Including travel read more

From Apr 17, 2014 For 4 days/nights pet care for: Dogs,RabbitsPlus additional dates in May, June & July/Aug 2014We have an executive home in Venice Beach that needs someone to stay and provide professional TLC while our family is away. We have a large, fluffy and loving Bernese Mountain Dog who is accustomed to attention day and night (including 2 walks); a sitter who is retired or can work out of our home (we have wifi) is necessary(unless we take our dog with us, like in May & late June trips). We also have 2 lop eared rabbits that are free range characters during the day and a roaming backyard garden to keep tabs on. We are 4 blocks to the beach, 6 blocks to Abbot Kinney and a block away from the Venice Canals. Tons of great restaurants all within walking distance. Quiet street with retirees and a few families, very safe.
