About Sheryl Hack: |
We are willing to go anywhere from 10 days to two months. . Shery has
spent the last 30 years as an architectural historian and museum
director. Joe has been a radio and tv sports caster and talk show host
for the last 42 years. We both homes in Connecticut and are very
familiar with the needs of pets, homes and plants,
We love pets, we love to travel and we love to meet new people and to
have new experiences. . Our goal is to meet as many great pets and pet
owners as possible. It's a great experience to visit new places and
experience their culture and enjoy local cuisine.
To any assignment we will bring enthusiasm, caring for pets and property and the ability to adopt to our
surroundings. We are neat and clean and believe in leaving the houses
the same way we found them. We will be conscientious about the
surroundings and caring for the pets. We don't smoke or do drugs and
believe it is our responsibility to be the best house sitters and pet
caregivers possible.

Joe and Shery did a wonderful job looking after our two dogs, one cat and home. They were very communicative before as well as during the sit. They kept us updated on how things were going and didn't hesitate to ask questions while they were here. We came home to a clean house and three very well looked-after pets.
Most of all: we really enjoyed meeting Joe and Shery. We liked them from the start and felt very comfortable with them right away. We actually were sad to leave them since we enjoyed their company so much!
All we can say is: if Joe and Shery apply, grab them! You will be very happy with with their care and most of all, meeting these two lovely people. We hope to have them come back in the future!

I feel terrible about this really tardy review. Joe and Shery were absolutely wonderful. They had lots of questions and took plenty of notes. There was no mistaking their organizational skills and enthusiasm for house and pet-sitting. They sent regular updates, with photos, and obviously very much enjoyed their stay in my little home and their time with Alexander. They left my home spotless . I hope we will stay in touch, as they are such a lovely couple. I would very highly recommend them for a house and pet sit.

Joe and Sherry were amazing petsitters who took great care of our 120lb malamute and left our home cleaner than when they arrived! They arrived a few hours before we left on our trip and we enjoyed chatting with them over lunch. They were very responsive and gave us regular updates on our pooch. It was a pleasant surprise to find beautiful floral arrangements and a thoughtful note to come home to! I had a long list of do's and don'ts for our dog and they were happy to comply. We loved meeting them and they are welcome anytime!

THE BEST HANDS DOWN! ... I have had many experiences with Trusted Housesitters pet-sitters and Joe and Shery are the absolute BEST ON ALL LEVELS ... They are, first and foremost, on this site as sitters for all the right reasons! Their number one goal was always to bond with and care for my pets (all 5 of them). In addition, they are a professional, trustworthy, kind, personable, fun-loving, honest couple and I had absolutely no worries being away from home (and I tend to worry a lot about leaving my pets). They bonded with, handled and loved them all unconditionally and independently. I had zero stress and, in fact, couldn't wait to get back home to spend more time with Joe and Sheri! They came a day early so my pets and I could get to know them, hiked with me and the dogs the day they arrived after driving all day, and took control of the entire "zoo" in a loving, respectful right off the bat. THESE ARE YOUR PET-SITTERS IF THEY ARE AVAILABLE! (I'm guessing they'll be highly sought-after in no time). Please call or text me anytime for more information. (704-906-2028). Shery and Joe were amazing! Super kind and communicative with us as we were away. They arrived a night before as we requested and had dinner. They are the nicest people to have a chat and we were both excited to get to know each other. During the trip they were great giving us updates about the pups. The day we arrived, we had roses, notes, cards waiting for us with the nicest messages, happy pups, a clean house and beer in the fridge, which is a huge plus! They did check with us to make sure we arrived home and found everything good. Best people and energy for your pets. Eternally grateful.

Joseph and Shery were fabulous and on a very short notice too.
I highly reccomend them and as Trusted Housesitters I was very impressed with my pets care and photos they updated me with and communication, they were also very tidy my home was spotless and the lovely flowers they left us were such a nice surprise. Very freindly and fun people. My pets are so happy with Joe and Shery that I was afraid Fat Elvis might leave with them!
