Hi there,
My name is Sorcha. My husband Matthew and I are experienced house and pet sitters with a history of trust and reliability amidst our furry charges and their human parents. Having grown up on a farm we are well versed in caring for a wide range of animals from cats/ dogs to livestock and even wild game. We are also familiar with pool/ pond/ water care and managing large estates. Past house sits have included, but are not limited to castles, farms, and manors across Europe and the US as well as luxury apartments and townhouses. While new to the Luxury house sitting website we are not new to house sitting. We travel the world and house sit full-time while running our online software development company, building e-commerce websites and web apps for small businesses. We are extremely self-sufficient, punctual, reliable and organized and value honesty, transparency, and discretion. Sorcha and Matt came and stayed for 5 days with us. They tick all the boxes. Instead of minding our 2 dogs, they also looked after 2 of our extra dogs that were visiting from Ireland. They took it in their stride and there wasn’t any difficulty or fuss made in any way. We had regular updates and chats to make sure everything was going okay for them with The Pack. They left the house as they found it and we walked back through the door as if we had never left and it almost seemed like they hadn’t been here except for the happy Bow Wows that proved they had gotten some hugs and rubs while we were absent. Sorcha and Mathew were do I begin, what an amazing couple. We were so lucky to find them! While my husband and I were away on holiday they detected a gas leak on our property and because we were in an area that did not have reliable cell reception they were unable to reach us. Not only did they do the right thing by contacting the fire brigade and gas company they coped with no gas or hot water or oven for a few days. They also coped with our dog getting fleas and administration of injections to our dog who has diabetes. What troopers they are! They sorted everything from start to end. The dogs loved them, we were sad to see them go. Sorcha and myself are avid Downton Abbey fans so we had lots to talk about. They are amazing definitely would have them again. If you get a chance to have them house sit for you snap them up!

An absolute pleasure to have Sorcha and Matt look after our house, garden and cats!!. Lovely people, completely reliable and allowed us to feel totally relaxed when we were away knowing everything was in safe hands. They provided regular updates and made sure the cats were constantly entertained. We returned to two very happy cats and a spotless house. Cannot recommend them highly enough and hoping to have them back again in future.

What can I say! Sorcha and Matthew were excellent house sitters. Unfortunately for us we were unable to meet them as we had decided to extend our holiday and needed some house sitters ASAP. Sorcha and Matthew looked after our flat and our rabbit brilliantly. Sammie was cleaned out before our return (something we did not ask them to do) and our flat was in perfect condition when we arrived home.
We could not recommend these two enough!!!
