Mariola has worked with our family for almost two years. Our family consists of myself, my husband, and our three children (now ages 8, 5, and 4 years old).
Mariola handled cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, organizing, taking care of our two cats and many indoor/outdoor plants, running errands, babysitting, picking up the kids from school, and also did incredible work in our garden, too. She is just magical in the way that she pours her heart into all that she does. We have been so spoiled with the beautiful way she decorates a cake, sets the table, and arranges flowers or fruit in a bowl. The only way I can describe her is to say that Mariola is Martha Stewart and meets Mary Poppins!
Mariola has many, many talents! She is an incredible cook and makes delicious soups, stews, salads, meat and fish dishes, pasta, gnocchi from scratch, and fabulous desserts of all kinds (cookies, banana breads, cakes, pies, puddings, crepes - you name it!). Everything she makes is delicious and made with love. She is truly an artist in the kitchen!
She is such a special person: wise, gentle, kind, loving, so hard-working, and just so lovely to be around. I trust Mariola completely and gave her a credit card to do shopping with, keys to our home and cars, and trusted her 100% to drive and watch my three children. She handles everything she does with great care and integrity and I cannot say enough about her strong morals and character.
If you’re looking for someone who has an incredibly broad skill set when it comes to taking care of your home, who is self-sufficient and a great problem solver, and who you can trust 100% with your life, Mariola is the person for you.
I don’t know what we did to deserve Mariola, but I’m so grateful that we had this nearly two years together. And while we are all so sad that she’s leaving, we know we’ve made a new family member for life.

"While I was away with my partner David, my home, Villa Pompeii in Palm Springs California, was left in the hands of the amazing Mariola. The house has 5 rooms, a pool, and 2 casitas. Mariola went above and beyond my expectations for a house sitter. Her service was exceptional and put me at ease, particularly with my 2 English bulldogs and my cat. On my return, I was delighted to find them happy, healthy, and thoroughly enjoying Mariola’s company demonstrating the attentiveness and care she showed to them all. She did this while maintaining the well-being of my home, ensuring it was always kept clean and tidy. From watering the plants to assisting our gardeners, Mariola treated our home as if it were her own, and for that, I am very thankful. If this wasn’t enough to showcase her competence, she even went to the trouble of making a wonderful meal for me and my partner on our arrival home. Not only was it delicious but it was a lovely and gracious personal touch, showing why she is the best.
