We are a retired, active couple in our early sixties who enjoy new experiences. Our travels are just beginning, and we recently returned from a trip to Greece, have traveled to Ireland, and Mexico this January.

We learned about these sites this Summer , and actually discovered a wonderful house/pet sitter through  a Housesitter America site.

We are non smokers, mostly vegan, definitely drug free, and enjoy local foods. Our family has had pets for over twenty years, two dogs and two cats. We currently have a dog, who is ten, and a cat, who is eighteen. We do not take them on our travels, as they much prefer to be home. Our dog goes on long walks twice a day, rain or shine.  Pets and how they are treated is a priority for us. They are family and we would care for them in that capacity. 

Home ownership has given us much experience in property maintenance.  Our family lived in our last home for twenty three years, our current home for four. Our downsize has allowed us the opportunity to do the travel we have been unable to in the past. We have rented in various places. One of the owner's of coastal property said he loves it when we stay in his home. We always leave a place better than we found it. Our yard is meticulous, and we are willing to garden or do yard maintenance.  We will show much respect for your property and your privacy. We are very flexible with our time. We will be happy to provide references, and any other background checks you require.
