About Eileen Darcy:

We are a retired professional couple, have a great sense of adventure, love animals, discovering new places & meeting new people. We take house sitting very seriously, and will look after your home and your pets as if they were our own. We are 70 years old, retired, healthy and strong, nonsmokers and seldom drink. We love nature, dogs & cats, meditation & golf. Excellent references are posted on other house sitting sites.  We are intelligent, educated mature adults who can handle anything that arises. We have raised and cared for dogs & cats, my background includes nursing. We have been homeowners for many years and can maintain a home successfully. We will care for your home & pets as though they are our own, your pets will also experience a vacation with us, of course within your guidelines.  I will keep you updated as much as you like.  After six + years of wonderful house sits, the best part has been the love received from each pet.  We will be returning to several of these homes next year.  Thanks,  Eileen

Outstanding job house sitting in Seattle, July and August 2018. Our pets were happy and healthy when we returned home. The Darcy's left a couple of hours before we returned (by prior arrangement). When we came in, the house was much cleaner than when we left it..........and Eileen left of a big plate of fresh baked cookies as a welcome home. One could do far worse, and not at all better, than using the Darcys as house sitters.
