We are looking for a mature couple to house sit for us. We will be traveling internationally for a month, starting October 20, 2012 and will be gone for four weeks. We would like a house sitter, so we do not have to put Charlie the cat, into the kitty hotel. He is a nice 5 year old tom, who is not allowed outside unless he is on a leash. He started on leashes at six weeks, so thinks it is normal and loves to go for walks. You would also look after the few house plants. Non-smokers only.
We live in the south end of San Jose, California. We are an hour from San Francisco and an hour from Monterey/Carmel. The light rail station is about a mile away and will take you into San Jose, or connect with CalTrain to San Francisco. The house is across the street from a golf course, so we see a lot of deer, turkeys, and other wildlife. It is a quiet neighborhood. The house is a two story, with five bedroom. We have great weather in October/November. The beach is about 45 minutes away.
San Jose is the center of Silicon Valley, so there is always a lot going on and a lot to see. Walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. The closest bus stop is three blocks. Use of my Honda CR-V may be possible. The house has high speed wifi and ethernet connection. Let me know if you have any questions. |
